This is a unique opportunity to renovate a medieval property in the one of the most desirable towns in Gers. Some of the renovation work has already been carried out including a new roof and part of the electrics and plumbing.
The property dates back to around the 13th century and most of the original authentic features have remained in tact.
The rooms are spacious, elegant and well lit with ample scope to create a large family home or holiday rental in this popular and beautiful part of Gascony.
A rare chance to create something truly special here - viewing is highly recommended to appreciate the full potential.

The property is situated on a quite side street only two minutes walk from the famous cathedral of Saint-Gervais, which was rebuilt in 1488.
An ancient arched entrance and wooden door lead in to a large open space with double height ceilings (58m2). This area could have an extra floor built within it.
Towards the back of this space, there is an arched entrance to a cellar and an area with old stone steps leading to the first floor level (20m2). There is a small section of floor on this level, the rest is open and floors would need to be built to create rooms on this level if desired.
A further set of old stone steps lead outside to a south-facing terrace (35m2) and the entrance to the second floor. The second floor level is currently one large open room (65m2) with double-height ceiling and filled with light coming through windows at the front and back. This area could be divided into separate rooms.
There are far reaching views from the windows at the front. The rear window looks out onto the terrace area.
This room retains many original features from different historical periods including old stone recesses, floor tiles, exposed wooden beams and two beautiful fireplaces.
This property has recently had the roof repaired so is watertight but requires a complete renovation. The walls are exposed stone and there is minimal electricity and plumbing at present but some of this work has been done.
A similar house next door has also recently been renovated by the same artisan and can be shown as a good comparison and give ideas of the full potential of this property.
