About my area

My region lies between lake and mountains. My village, Collonges-sous-Salève, is nestled in the foothills of Mont Salève with spectacular views across the Geneva basin and Lake Geneva toward the Jura mountains. This gives many local properties truly stunning, picture-postcard views. Here, life is lived seamlessly between Haute Savoie and the canton of Geneva as if no formal border crossings exist - and often they don’t ! With lake activities and cruises, vineyards, mountain sports, tennis, golf, and an array of beautiful terraces to dine on in warmer months, as well as easy access to many popular ski resorts in winter, there’s no better region to get the most out of life. Many residents choose to work in the neighbouring Swiss canton of Geneva where salaries are considerably higher than French salaries. They do so whilst enjoying the Haute Savoie quality of life and an ability to choose from a wide range of property-types and often with a boosted purchasing power. If you want to settle in a region where there is so much to offer, professionally and socially, then this should be your area too !

About me

In 2003 I left my London apartment and moved to Geneva with my job in international marketing. It was for 18 months, but I fell in love with the area so here I stayed. After 5 years in Geneva, including a stint in the USA, I bought my current home in the Grand Genève region of Haute Savoie, just 1 km from the Franco-Swiss border. I continued to work in the multinationals in Geneva, with frequent international travel. In my spare time I focussed on renovating my new home which kept me engaged and surprisingly motivated. So with my passion for property, local knowledge and years of working in international environments, it made sense to combine this all within my role with Leggett. Having seen many parts of the world yet having chosen to settle here, I’m a true advocate of the area and look forward to sharing with you the many benefits of life and home-ownership in the Grand Genève region.
